Voyeurism

These images are selling her sexy image, with her body and looks. However she looks innocent and cute in these pictures, but has been portrayed otherwise in her videos etc..

Feedback from P3-14

We thought that the video was very good because it was all in time with the music, and the visuals met the lyrics, as it was in an urban setting and they were wearing urban "chavy" clothes. The dancing in the video was really good when they reversed the backflip in slow motion to make it look like a front flip. The added special effects in that are really good like when the cards came out of the hand.

P3-13

P3-11

  1. Held shot steady
  2. Frame shot excluding and including elements
  3. used variety of shot distances
  4. Definitely shot material appropriate to the task set
  5. Selected mise en scene perfectly
  6. Editing is apparent to meaning is apparent to viewer
  7. Used variety of effects
  • Definitely meets genre characteristics
  • Visual and music matched
  • sells artist
We felt this was cleverly executed and the dancing was very professional, lip singing was really good and was an overall really enjoyable and realistic video for the genre.
Genre characteristics:

- As it's a Hip Hop genre music video, the general feel of the outfits (caps and chains) is what we expect to see. Also, the style of their movement is how we see Hip Hop artist's to behave.

Visual with lyrics:

- This is definitely noticeable with the hand action of the heart and the cards.

Visual and music:

- The number the artists in the track were on screen, all singing their individual parts you could hear.

Need to sell artist:

- Their style of caps and chains and the motorbike make them look like big stars.

Voyeurism:

- pleasurable to watch the talented dancing.

review

Genre characteristics - Costume and hand gestures matches the genre. We would expect to see street dancing. Directed to a male audience through locations - basketball court and through the members.
Visuals/lyrics - Gestures to costumes when mentioned in the lyrics, a heart symbol was made with the hands when mentioned in the lyrics. Cards thrown when mentioned in lyrics.
Visuals/music - The members of the group move to the beat of the music. and dance to the music.
Need to sell artist - Each member gets lots of screen time, shows extra talents in dancing to sell the artists more.
Intertextuality - Lyrics relate to a tv program called the hills.
Voyeurism - Only males rapping which would appeal to a female audience.

Pass Out - Tinie Tempah (beta video) ;)

Editing Ideas

As a transition also mentioned on our shot list is a white flash covering the screen then to the club scene. Also scene will be switched according to each verse/lyrics/beat.

Mise-en-scene

Setting.. Club and on the street referencing to the genre of the song.
Costumes.. Smart/casual clothing for the club setting and 'GANGSTA' clothing for the next street scene.
Props.. may use a cocktail glass
Lighting.. Using green so lighting will be computer generated in our background image.
Colour.. Will be appropriate for the settings in the green room

Pass Out Lyrics

Yeah (yeah) we bring the stars out,
We bring the women and the cars and the cards out,
Lets have a toast a celebration get a glass out,
And we can do this until we pass out.

(so) Let it rain,
Let it pour away,
We wont come down,
Until we hit the ground and pass out!

Yeah (i) yeah, im in charge now,
